Novita provides early intervention, rehabilitation, therapy, assistive technology and disability services to more than 6,000 people living with disability, as well as support for their families and carers. Our primary purpose is to enable kids, young people and adults living with disability and their families to participate in the community to their full potential.
About the Role
A rare opportunity has presented itself for customer service driven Service Development Coordinator in Kadina on Fixed term 12 months contract with potential for further extension or permanent.
Working at Novita you will be contributing to the design, development and delivery of services that are relevant and appropriate to the needs of the York and Mid North communities. You will provide an exemplary experience for our customers, regional services teams and other stakeholders. The position is responsible for facilitating a quality customer service to our new and existing customers ensuring repeatability, accountability and continuous improvement of our services and customer experience.
You will have frequent interaction with the team, community organizations and agencies, community residents and individual consumers of Novita's services.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be creative and flexible with the ability to effectively problem solve, and have the following skills and attributes:
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the disability sector
The ability to develop, implement and evaluate relevant resources and tools in partnership with the team and the community
Demonstrated ability to manage own work schedule and priorities, and to work with limited supervision
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work in a multi-cultural context
A strong working knowledge of the client management system (or similar, or the ability to quickly learn and use)
Qualification in Social Science or Diploma in Community Development (desirable)
Mandatory Requirement
Valid DHS Disability or NDIS clearance
Valid Working with Children Check
Three doses of Covid Vaccination (Novita Mandate)
Valid Drivers License
Remuneration Package
Attractive regional retention allowance applicable to this role. Total remuneration package includes base salary, annual leave loading and statutory superannuation contribution. Enjoy salary packaging up to $15,000 of your salary, increasing your take-home pay significantly.
