About the job
As a Senior Major Development Services Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering customer growth by administering and managing major land development cases within SA Water frameworks. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with developers, consultant engineers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate asset construction and new customer connections. You will also be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of Developer Agreement Formal Instruments (DAFis) and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through exemplary service delivery.
In addition, your responsibilities will include:
- Analyse and manage development projects, documenting requirements and facilitating asset construction.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to strategize successful Developer Agreement Formal Instruments (DAFis) and gifted assets delivery.
- Maintain end-to-end processes for Inquiries and Development Applications.
- Provide rapid resolution of complex issues affecting land development progress.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by processing inquiries and applications accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and internal teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Your success in this role will come from:
- Extensive experience in business/technical administration and processing services.
- Proven track record in delivering exemplary customer service and effective telephone techniques.
- Proficiency in data-based computer systems and software.
- Post-secondary education in customer service or business administration (desirable).
- Understanding of water and wastewater design and construction principles (desirable).
- Knowledge of waterworks, sewerage legislation, and corporate policies related to Major Developments (desirable).
- Demonstrated knowledge of, Commonwealth and State Legislation, Australian standards, and industry codes of practice (desirable).
- White Card (Induction to Construction Work) certification (desirable).
