About the Role
As our business continues to scale and expand, we are looking for an electrician who can work autonomously as a field service technician. The role includes some light mechanical fitting. We will invest a significant amount of industry specific electrical and light mechanical fitting training in you, to arm you with the skills needed to excel in this role.
The core of our commercial petroleum systems is electrical and indeed electronic based. We need a super smart sparky who is keen to move beyond ceiling fans, power points and wire pulling. This is a great chance to take your existing skillset and expand your knowledge.
The role would include:
- Servicing fuel tanks and associated equipment - Bowsers, pumps, tank gauging, fuel management systems, etc. This includes changing fuel filters, strainers, hoses, nozzles etc
- Electrical and instrumentation installation for downstream commercial petroleum facilities
- Calibrating pulse meters and tank gauges
- Cleaning pump bays and associated equipment
- Diagnosing faults and replacing equipment
- Using an iPHONE / iPAD to complete app based forms and associated documentation.
