Our purpose: Life Unlimited.The primary responsibility of the Service Engineer is to deliver outstanding technical support to SMITH & NEPHEW customers, executing on-site reactive repairs and preventative maintenance for SMITH & NEPHEW installed equipment.What will you be doing?
- Deliver highly adaptable repair and maintenance support, with a focus on SMITH & NEPHEW contract customers.
- Repair SMITH & NEPHEW equipment in compliance with internal, corporate, and external standards (e.g., IEC 60601-1& AS/NZS 3551) while ensuring timeliness and cost-effectiveness.
- Complete the training program to become qualified for service across franchises.
- Execute Preventative Maintenance (PM) activities as per contractual obligations and internal procedures for customers under service contracts.
- Support other Service Engineers in managing the whole ANZ PM program.
- Exceed individual targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage individual inventory, conduct ANZ stock cycle counts as scheduled.
- Support the Operations Lead and Co-Ordinator’s in state inventory management.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, sales representatives, and hospital staff to align with SMITH & NEPHEW objectives.
- Provide Technical Support over-the-phone.
- Contribute to the revision and creation of internal procedures – striving for best in industry practice.
- Demonstrates a positive and hardworking attitude towards teamwork.
- Safely control and use a variety of tools and test equipment.
- Has strong capability within standard computer systems (office package)
- Advanced communication skills and ability to form and manage relationship with a diverse range of internal and external customers and colleagues.
