The role will be responsible for providing high level, expert advice to the Chief Operating Officer and members of the Executive team, will contribute to the development of the Townsville Hospital and Health Service's strategic vision and be responsible for the development and delivery of the Service Group’s annual operational and performance plan.
The Service Group Director is responsible for approximate MOHRI FTE of 550 and responsible for an approximate budget of $96 million.
Executive full-time contract up to 3 years, with a possibility of a further 2 years.
This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing the operations of a clinical Service Group within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS). This role is a key member of the Senior Management Team and works in partnership with the COO, Executive Directors and other Service Group Directors to support the delivery of safe, effective and sustainable care within the THHS.
This role will be responsible for an approximate headcount of 550 FTE and a budget of $96 million.
