About This Opportunity
Lead a high-performing team that supports the delivery of efficient student services. Develop dynamic performance reports and ensure effectiveness student services systems. Collaborate with UQ stakeholders to achieve university-wide project goals.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide leadership and expertise in system use and data reporting, facilitating evidence-based decision-making to improve student services and experiences at UQ.
- Collaborate with ITS to develop technology roadmaps, project proposals and business cases, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and strategies, and overseeing change management processes.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of available systems supporting student experiences at UQ through collaboration with stakeholders, addressing operational needs, issues, and opportunities, and facilitating effective problem-solving.
- Identify and develop relevant data sources and analysis methods to enhance student-centric services, delivering reports on usage trends, targets, and recommendations based on evidence.
- Lead a high performing team who can deliver service excellence and maintain high levels of productivity through efficient workload management and effective performance management.
- Coordinate Student Affair's Work Health and Safety responsibilities and obligations under the Act and the overall state of Work Health and Safety. This position will also support the Work Health and Safety Coordinator
About You
- Completion of postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience, with demonstrated expertise in managing teams and client-centred services to enhance student engagement.
- Experience managing a team of people to deliver effective and efficient client-centred services including but not limited to business and data analysis initiatives to enhance the student experience and engagement.
- Extensive experience in business and data analysis across digital platforms, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct analysis, and prioritize delivery aligned with service goals.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing project plans, measuring outcomes, and effectively communicating progress within established standards.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of conceptualizing and implementing innovative solutions within specified frameworks, supported by excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks.
