About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Line Manager – Building to join our team based at Hendra.
As the Service Line Manager your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the team through coaching and leadership and driving a continuous improvement culture.
- Forecasting and controlling annual service revenue & expenditure.
- Administering and programming the Service Line workload.
- Ensuring labour effectiveness through relevant recruitment and resourcing.
- Liaising and developing strong relationships with both external clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction is a high priority by delivering on customer charters.
- Actively supporting business growth agenda and ensuring the team’s capability is maintained to support growth of new customers.
- Contribute to ender bid /no bid discussions for future project works.
- Support team with project material selection, subcontractor selection and licence checks.
- Provide guidance on any development, council and building approvals where required for projects.
- Support team with work assessments and develop site inspection requirements, ITP’s and hold points to drive high quality outcomes and finishes.
About You
- Certificate 3 Carpentry trade qualification, QBCC Builder – Medium Rise Site Supervisor Licence, or higher.
- Proven experience as a Service Manager, Project Manager or Division Manager along with exceptional people and subcontractor management capabilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven track record and commitment to delivering within safe systems of work.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong client focus
- Effective time management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- To meet client requirements, this role requires you to be an Australian citizen as well as obtain a police clearance.
