Work flexibly from either Brisbane or one of our regional centres; Cairns, Gold Coast, Mackay, Maryborough, Rockhampton, Toowoomba, Townsville, Sunshine Coast (subject to office availability). Key Outcomes and Accountabilities The aim of this role is to: Lead and manage the statewide operation of the centrally managed Resolution Services claims approval team. This will include: Ensuring the claims handling performance targets set by the Insurance Committee and project deliverables are achieved. Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on performance to achieve the teams and project objectives; Ensuring staff are provided with appropriate direction, guidance, training, and assistance; Overseeing the administration of the teams business plan and budget; and Identifying, recommending and implementing responses to significant issues. Respond to complaints from customers in relation to insurance claims. Manage the day to day operations of the QHWS claims approval process.
