Work Remotely from Home Anywhere in Australia (Preferably Southeast Queensland as we have Management support in this area) or Join us in Katherine NT - This role comes with flexible hours over a 5 day work week from Monday – Friday, so would also suit an individual that requires particular flexible working hours, such as school hours, but can also offer the business consistency in return, with the opportunity to expand responsibilities within the business in the future depending on the skill level of the successful applicant, and eagerness and interest to continue to develop their skills within the industry. To assist with the Remote work delivery, you will work closely with the Construction Manager on the Ground, as well as Site Supervisors. Would Suite someone that has Project Estimator, Coordination Experience and Looking to Challenge themselves in Project Management.

The Company: NBPS has been in operation for over 7 years in the NT and specializes in Remote Maintenance and Building servicing both Residential and Commercial Clients. We work in some of Australia's most remote locations. Up to 8hrs drive from the nearest Hardware Store, Arnhem Land, kakadu National Park. Our Clients Include Federal Government, State Government, Local Councils and NGO's.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage Workflows and Project Management for diverse trade services ranging from Grounds Maintenance Services, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting and Carpentry, New Residential Housing and Renovation Projects, Commercial Repairs and Insurance Remediation Works.
- Approve and Track PO's and Cost. Ensure Subs, Materials and StakeHolder communications are current.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure Materials are onsite and ready prior to requirements.
- Develop and implement Best Practice Project Management Systems which will be flexible dependant on the project or Trade Service being delivered.
- Work in conjunction with on-site trades and supervisors to achieve efficient delivery. Prepare Gannt Charts for Program Supervisors
- Build new & leverage existing relationships with key personnel across multiple government and non-government organizations.
- Liaise with clients, insurers and Department Representatives
- Liaise with & engage sub-contractors for Ad-Hoc Works and program their deliveries.
- Ensure all work conforms to legislative & contractual OH&S requirements.
- Ensure all inspections, certificates & relevant documentation is signed off.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Building Trade / Construction Qualification or Experience in Office operations and Project Management - Qualification not Essential
- Previous Experienced in Job management software including ServiceM8 or Buildertrend is highly regarded but not essential.
- Computer literacy – Microsoft Excel, Project & Word
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to build effective relationships & be empathetic to the needs of the client
- Dispute resolution skills
- Positive attitude & sound work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
