As a Leader of our Individual Support Team Leaders, you'll be, wise in the ways of NDIS, a reliable mentor with exemplary time management, and someone with an unwavering commitment to maintaining high-quality services. Your role is diverse, but you will likely spend most of your time mentoring and developing our five fabulous Team Leaders. They are the heartbeat of our service and work tirelessly to place our participants directly at the centre of all our services. Your commitment to exceptional services will be demonstrated through your creative problem-solving that balances choice and control, duty of care and organisational risk.
This Leadership role with DAS is a wonderful opportunity to further develop your management skills while working with a passionate, supportive and agile NDIS service provider.
Your Role:
- Provide Leadership wizardry to our individual support Team Leaders
- Act as a 'cool-cucumber' escalation point for case management or challenges.
- Maintain precise organisational policies, procedures, and KPIs
- Utilise your sound understanding of NDIS legislation and SCHADS award to design solutions
- Identify and develop risk/hazard mitigations in line with NDIS, WHS and other legislation
- Contribute to the design and development of our spectacular individual support services
- Uphold privacy and security by safeguarding important records and documents.
- Routinely prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations with precision.
- Design person-centred support plans for NDIS participants
- Support internal auditing and quality control procedures
- Develop training plans and performance management strategies for your team.

Service Manager Must-Haves:
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Community Services (or equivalent experience).
• Management experience of at least 3 years demonstrating the management of a team in achieving clear KPI's
• Working with Children's Check (WWCC),
• NDIS Workers Check,
• Driver’s license,
• Valid First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• Superior computer skills - especially with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Exceptional time management and communication, both written and verbal.
• Social work or Customer Service experience (desirable)
