Our Corporate and Community Services Directorate is seeking a passionate customer focussed individual to join our team as a Service NSW Officer. As part of the broader Customer Service team, our Service NSW Officers play a pivotal role in delivering a specialist range of Service NSW transactions to residents in our local region including: licencing, registration, driver testing, RSA/RCG competency cards, and Working with Children Checks.
Working within the established Service NSW processes, your dedication to delivering high levels of customer service will ensure that every customer’s individual needs are recognised assuring their interaction with the Service NSW Agency is positive, timely, accurate, efficient, and memorable.
Training in Council’s customer service functions will also be provided to supplement the primary duties of the Service NSW Officer position.
To be successful in the role you will:
- Create a positive relationship in all customer interactions.
- Be an effective communicator.
- Have the ability to multitask and balance competing priorities.
- Possess high attention to detail and accurate record keeping abilities.
- Uphold strict privacy and confidentiality requirements.
- Demonstrated computer skills and cash handling experience.
- Work collaboratively with Council staff and Service NSW representatives.

ABOUT US
The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU
This role offers the opportunity for you to be part of a competent, high performance team, along with opportunities for ongoing training. The successful applicant will have completed, or be able to successfully attend and complete, Service NSW Agency training as soon as possible.
We offer a salary starting at $58,047 to $74,305 gross per annum plus superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the position.
