We are currently seeking to recruit a Service Planner to plan and coordinate our Trains throughout VIC & NSW.
Key responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Liaise with Customer to determine their freight task
- Liaise with load points to arrange loading times
- Liaise with access providers to secure train paths
- Liaise with Terminals to secure tips slots
- Initiate & implement the plan to meet customer's requirements
- Allocate train crews to the relevant tasks & advise crews in accordance with the EA
- Arrange fuelling events
- Arrange Maintenance of Locomotives & Wagons with the relevant Maintenance personnel
- Manage and rectify live issues with train services as required
The successful applicant must demonstrate the following:
- Rail Industry experience
- Previous experience in train crew rostering and/or service planning and coordination
- Ability to solve and rectify live issues with train services
- Commitment to a safety culture, and have a can-do customer focus
- Professionalism, integrity, reliability and a positive attitude
- Ability to work both, autonomously and in a team environment
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
This position offers the ability to work remotely from home (for the right candidate) or based out of our Head Office located in Bendigo Victoria.
