Service Project Manager (Controls & Digitalization)

We currently have an opportunity for a Service Project Manager to join the team based in Sydney. The Service Project Manager is responsible for Service Projects in the Controls & Digitalisation business. The PM will implement projects within the quality framework (time, budget, functionalities) and also ensure success in terms of EH&S, quality, economic results and customer satisfaction.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Project Management of Service Projects, including onsite service and maintenance works.

• Leads the project throughout the complete project life cycle (scope, cost, quality, risk, schedule) and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Develops expansion of business on the basis of actual project / extends the actual project.

• to acquire new business.

• Develops project strategies aligned with the Business Unit and responsible collaborators.

• Monitor’s milestone and adherence to budgets, and initiates actions to minimize non-conformance cost.

• Implementing Lessons Learned feedback after completion of every project.

• Generating Up-Sales & Variation Orders on existing projects.

• Reviewing and implementing cost reduction / improvement measures.

• Ensure high levels of Customer Satisfaction.

• Ensure all projects and works are driven with zero harm and using Siemens Energy standard EHS processes.

• Strong interface and connection to counterparts worldwide.

• Leading and championing continuous improvement and quality management.

• Acts as an entrepreneur on the level of decision making during all the project phases.

• Adheres to Siemens Energy’s Project Management, Business Conduct Guidelines & HSE standards.

What You Bring

• Degree or equivalent experience in electrical, electronics or controls engineering.

• 3-5 years professional experience in controls and digitalization systems service,

• maintenance, engineering or project management

• At least 2 years Project Management experience

• Ability to work in a team environment, result orientation, assertiveness, motivation and

• inspiration, customer orientation, organizational awareness, decision making.

• Has worked in project teams and experience in leading teams.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Knowledge and experience on power generation control systems (Omnivise T3000 or

• PCS7 will be added advantage)

• Full working rights in Australia and the ability to travel for the execution of site based projects

• Project management certification will be an added advantage

• Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
