Your new role
The Senior Project Controls Manager conducts schedule and planning with a particular focus on the Earned Value Management aspects for the assigned bids and projects against a baseline and ensuring that it meets contracted EVM standards. You must also have expertise in planning/scheduling to develop schedules and Critical Path to manage schedules.
Key Responsibilities;
- Development / implementation and maintenance of the Earned Value Management system (i.e.Cobra)
- Planning and scheduling the scope of work within the scheduling / project management tool e.g. Primevera
- Be involved in preparation and delivery of monthly reports.
- Drive the development and maintenance of the PMB and actively participate in the Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) if required
- Actively support the development and maintenance of Risk & Opportunities
- Work collaboratively with the planning and scheduling team
- Experience working with Earned Value Management
- Financial / Budgetary control of accounts & work-packages
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or relevant
- Experience in an Earned Value Management environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of the project management lifecycle
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge / experience in the use of EVM system tool (Cobra or other)
- Primavera and Scheduling Tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Open Plan)
- Scheduling - Program Evaluation & Review Technique (PERT) and Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis
