Programmed has recently joined forces with a key player in the Electronic Security Technology sector, providing a thrilling chance to become part of their expanding organisation.
They are in search of a Service Security Technician. In this full-time permanent role, the successful candidate will step into a dynamic and varied position, actively contributing to a range of electrical security projects for well-known brands.
Key requirements of the suitable applicant
- Expertise and hands-on experience in the upkeep of electronic security and CCTV systems, as well as familiarity with devices, fixtures, and equipment.
- Understanding of methods, materials, and proficiency in using tools and equipment essential for routine and breakdown electronic security maintenance and testing.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge to identify and pinpoint defects in electronic security systems and CCTV equipment.
- Capability to follow directions as needed and function independently under pressure.
- Skill in self-management, taking ownership of roles and responsibilities.
- Aptitude for prioriotisation and the ability to work in an organised, systematic manner.
Skills & Experience
- Hold a current Queensland Security License
- Hold a current Driver’s License
- Experience with electronic security installations and maintenance
- Experience with electronic systems, with preferred experience in:
- Gallagher
- Integriti
- Tecom
- Experience with CCTV analogue and IP systems with preferred experience in;
- IndigoVision
- Network Optix
- Milestone
- Strong communication skills, must be able to communicate professionally face-to-face and over the phone
- Highly skilled in the use of computing and networking systems
