Job Description
As a Service Technician, you will:
- Perform routine maintenance and scheduled repairs as per established schedules.
- Attend breakdowns promptly, utilising problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions.
- Undertake new equipment installations with precision and expertise.
- Execute enhancements and updates to existing machinery to enhance functionality.
- Communicate transparently and promptly with clients and internal teams.
- Manage time effectively to ensure seamless delivery of customer service.
- Embrace travel opportunities, including local and potential interstate assignments.
Desired Skills and Experience
This role requires:
- A-Grade or Restricted Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain Licence).
- Possess a Mechanical Trade qualification.
- Experience in a field based work with a desire to be in field at customer sites and travelling interstate intermittently.
- Previous experience as field Service Technician in the packaging industry with demonstrated proficiency in supporting high-speed production machinery is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is highly advantageous.
- Customer-focused mindset, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, coupled with self-motivation and a results-oriented work approach.
- A valid current driver's license and willingness to travel both locally and interstate is essential for the role.
