Our client is an independent, locally owned and operated Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Electrical business in Mackay. For almost 18 years, they have been offering and implementing climate control & electrical solutions for residential, commercial, and construction customers throughout Mackay and The Whitsundays. They specialise in all aspects of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and electrical work, including product supply, design, installation, repairs & maintenance. They are also part of a group of air conditioning and electrical companies located on Hamilton Island with the potential to work at both these locations IF you are interested.
About The Opportunity
Due to business growth, our client is now looking to fill a range of positions including Mechanics, Installers, Service Technicians, Electricians with AC installation experience and 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices to service clients in Mackay. This role will be a 50/50 split between commercial and residential work.
About You
Depending on the role you are interested in some of the things we are looking for include:
- Previous experience as an Installer, Service Tech, Mechanic or Electrician
- ARCTICK Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
- Current drivers licence
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of pride in your work
- The ability to take direction and work under minimal supervision
