ROTECH WATER is an established and credible family-owned WA company that designs and manufactures a range of water treatment equipment including filtration, Reverse Osmosis (desalination) and membrane purification systems. Our service team specialises in fault diagnostics, repairs, plant review, commissioning, installation and refurbishment of all water treatment equipment.
Qualifications & experience
- Preferred to have a minimum of 3 year water treatment knowledge or experience in the operation and servicing of water treatment plants.
- Current C-Class Licence (manual preferred but not essential).
- White / Blue Card.
- Police Clearance (for work in gold mines).
- Undergo random and frequent drug/alcohol testing with consistent negative results.
- Pre-employment medical check.
- Mechanical and hydraulic aptitude. Electrical trade qualifications desired but not essential.
- Be prepared to travel and work away from home for short periods. To be reliable and have the ability to work unsupervised. Proven troubleshooting and communication skills (verbal and hand-written).
- Prepared to learn, develop personal skills and client relationships, whilst working safely and being respectful of other workers.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Travel to sites, including Perth metropolitan and regional areas of WA and NT.
- Perform on site routine maintenance activities, including, but not limited to, Reverse Osmosis membrane cleaning, cartridge/bag filter replacement, calibration of instrumentation.
- Maintenance, monitoring and adjustment of water treatment plants and associated equipment to meet plant performance indicators.
- Completion of site service reports detailing the work performed and maintaining customer records.
- Respond to callouts for service/repair, and to accident/emergency callouts.
- Prepare equipment and asset improvement recommendations if required.
- Workshop duties including assisting in the building of equipment in between scheduled service work.
- Participation in workshop factory acceptance testing (FAT) and commissioning on site.
- To ensure that all assets of the Company are maintained at the highest level and used to the maximum benefit of the Company.
- Compliance with company and client on-site workplace policies and procedures.
