Form of workOur client seeks a senior level ServiceNow Engineer who will be responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing support of the ServiceNow ITOM & ITSM Platform across the business. You will be an active member of the project team and will assist with the delivery of an accelerated Service Mapping and Event Management program. In addition, you will provide creative solutions and will manage escalated tickets [Incident & Problem], platform configurations, system enhancements and IT changes. You will implement and provide service improvement plans across automated workflow development, platform improvements, defect maintenance and data imports. You will work closely with Process Owners, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to ensure a through understanding of all requirements and to communicate and manage test status.

Skills/Experience required
- Proven background in leading the implementation, integration, and configuration of ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
- Experience in related platforms – ITSM, ITOM & ATF.
- Experience in the ServiceNow platform including – workflows / reports / dashboards / portals / REST APIs.
- Proven experience in application development and the ability to translate complex end user requirements to system requirements to code.
- Experience in System Admin – Unix and Windows based.
- Good understanding of Network Connectivity and permissions.
- Technical background across Operations / Infrastructure / Applications – support and or development.
- Experience in the management of all phases of the application lifecycle and best practise – requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deployment.
- Certified in ITIL, ITSM, ServiceNow
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult to sponsors & stakeholders in solving business processes and technical problems.
- Experience within financial services would be highly advantageous.
