As the ServiceNow Engineer in the Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) team you'll contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. We are looking for a driven individual who is obsessed with creating a difference, whilst we reimagine our business, Automation has become a pivotal part of our journey. You'll be responsible for a portfolio of automation tools however the focal point is ServiceNow as the IT platform of choice and platform adoption in the form of automation.

Day to day:

  • Communicating technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Consulting with business analyst/project manager to develop appropriate technical solutions
  • Documenting and gain acceptance / approvals of selected final solutions
  • Executing technical solutions in capacity as a ServiceNow lead, subject matter expert
  • Coaching and advising other Developers/ support engineers
  • Develop, test and implement Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs including advanced scripting of each, forms workflows, and custom Service Portal widgets
  • Ensure proper operation and configuration of the platform through testing and validation
  • Develop, test, and implement data integrations via API calls to various other technologies within our Platform environment
  • Administration of the application, including but not limited to, installation/upgrading, configuration, operation, and maintenance
  • Advance the maturity of the environment by researching and implementing new tools and technologies.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • 3+ years of experience as a developer on the ServiceNow Platform
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Change Management, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Problem Management, Incident Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, etc.
  • Knowledge of HTTP, REST, and API design best practices. Understanding of event-driven architectures. Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts. Knowledge of modern web design (CSS, HTML, etc.), JavaScript, and Angular.
  • Ability to provide ServiceNow customization and configuration including but not limited to: scripting, workflow administration, report setup, module configuration, data imports and third-part software integration.
  • Can define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to benefit the organization and maintain client satisfaction
  • Experience working in an Agile or Scrum software development environment
You'll earn brownie points with:
  • CMDB Integration and Management Experience
  • Variety of Data and Task API-based Integration Experience
  • ITIL certification (at least ITIL V3 foundation)
  • Demonstrated understanding of ITIL practices in particular Incident management, problem management and change management.
  • Experience in automation tools, such as Blue Prism, UI Automation, UiPath, Power Platform
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, Python or .NET
  • Basic knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial
