Systems Engineer

In this role you will be required to Analyse, develop and implement troubleshooting strategies to ensure efficient operations of network and computer systems
Main responsibilities: Act as the primary technical interface to customers as well as to the sales team, owning the full
technical responsibility for requirements analysis, solution
architecture and design for new solutions and systems.
Develop system requirements, deployment strategy and delivery estimates for infrastructure, hardware, software network communications systems.

Lead the production of deployment architecture and solution level design document together with the updates of modifications of network and maintenance instructions.
Champion for quality, completeness and best practices of project deliverables.
Design and development of technical content explained in statement of work including maintenance procedures, network inventory, diagnosis results and related networking infrastructure.
Participate in requirements collection for project engagements to analyse, develop and interpret technical architectural specifications for complex systems.
Lead assurance activities of project delivery inclusive of conducting technical QA reviews on components to optimize network and system performance.
Design and deploy new solutions and enhancements to existing applications, software and networks.

tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or appropriate vendor qualifications certification-CISCO or Microsoft
Relevant skills: Experience as a network systems engineer.

technical competence in:
Networking, including protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP),
components and hardware (DNS, WINS, hubs and routers) and Databases, including MSQL, Sybase, Oracle, queries, schema and stored procedures as applicable to the product set supported Web technology, including IIS, HTML, .NET, administration,
security and lockdown
Application servers such as weblogic, Enterprise reporting tools, such as Crystal Enterprise and Cognos
Telecommunication systems knowledge, CTI, PBX, VoiP; including switches and protocols.
Relevant experience: demonstrated ability in operations and systems analysis
