About Your Role

To lead and Coordinate the provision of high quality clinical services to people in Murrumbidgee Local Health District who have experienced Sexual Assault and more broadly violence, abuse and neglect. With a key focus on the VAN crisis oncall 24/7 service responding to Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Child Physical Abuse and Neglect.

To lead the development and provision of VAN integration in line with NSW Health IPARVAN. Focusing on the collaboration with PPP services and also broader health services such as MH to ensure the implementation of the 24/7 VAN oncall service to include Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence and Child Physical Abuse and Neglect. 

To lead the local development and provision of Sexual Assault and VAN oncall services, including localised policy and procedures, in line with NSW Health Responding to Sexual Assault (Adult and Child) Policies and Procedures.

To work collaboratively with the Sexual Assault Clinical Lead, Forensic Medical Lead, MLHD Counselling Clinical Lead, JCPRP Coordinator, Child Protection Counselling Service Clinical Lead and Priority Populations Program in the implementation and development of policy and strategic direction and in responding to the needs for the PPP services within the District.
