About the role:
This position will play a key role in improving equity, access and health outcomes for Sexuality and Gender diverse patients, consumers and staff of through management and delivery of aligned projects. The position will work to deliver on plans within the Heath Equity Program, relevant People & Culture plans and the Continuous Improvement Strategy - Sexuality and Gender Diversity. The position will also work to support the implementation of the NSW Health LGBTQI+ Health Strategy at St Vincent's Health Network Sydney.

2. Proven experience and ability to work with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and Gender diverse, intersex, and/or queer identifying communities.3. A professional commitment to social justice, inclusion and participation with people who are underserved by the health system.
4. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area such as social sciences, mental health, nursing, community health and/or health management; or equivalent health; with proven ability and experience of working in a health or human services or community development settings.
5. Able to demonstrate highly developed project management skills including working adaptively with multiple priorities and timely delivery.
6. Demonstrated expertise, policy and legislative knowledge, skills, experience and understanding of contemporary health service provision, trauma-informed models of care, recovery-oriented practice, co-production and co-design approaches.
7. Highly developed skills in engaging with consumers and working collaboratively with carers, members of the multidisciplinary team, other senior staff and external agencies and stakeholders.
8. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including problem solving ability and conflict resolution skills, as well as sound oral and writing skills.Applications close on 15 March 2024
