Shade Structure Installer / Tradesman

West Coast Shade is a leading Company in the Shade Industry of WA, specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of Shade Structures and sails.

We offer varied work all across WA, meaning two days are hardly ever the same!

We are looking to employ skilled tradesmen and construction professionals with the following attributes:

• Be a good team player
• Be responsible, honest, neat and tidy
• Must be competent and have experience using power tools
• Ability to carry out basic tasks un-supervised
• Current White Card
• Must be competent using ladders and working at heights
• Be physically fit due to the nature of the work
• Willing & able to work long hours in peak times.
• Have a responsible attitude towards D&A and workplace safety
• Current, valid manual driver's license (LR License desirable)
• National Police Clearance (Can/will be supplied by us, but required for working for many of our Clients).
• Willingness to travel overnight to country locations on occasion

You will be responsible for:

• Setting out and planning works
• Excavation and concreting of footings
• Installation of steel columns, steel fixings and brackets
• Use of power tools & hand tools with skill
• Measuring of shade sails and structures
• Installation of shade sails (Ladders or EWP's)
• General Tradesman-like level of workmanship and finishing
• Troubleshooting of challenges with Supervisor and/or General Manager
• Client Liaison (On site point of contact and/or ability for profesisonal interation with Clients and the Public)

Applicant must have reliable transport to travel to our factory in Bibra Lake. Tools and Work vehicle for daily tasks will be supplied by us.

On the job training and support will be provided.
