Address Randstad are currently working with a large government department to find an experienced SharePoint Technical Specialist (Onprem to Cloud Migration) for an initial 6 month contract with potential of extension. This role is based in Carseldine, Brisbane with WFH flexibility - please note, this is not a remote role, please only apply if based in Brisbane or willing to relocate. About the Project: The SharePoint to Cloud project is migrating the existing SharePoint 2016 (on-premise) content, including the intranet to SharePoint Online (in the Cloud). This is a business-driven project, not a technical 'lift and shift' migration. The SharePoint Project Technical Specialist will perform site configuration, develop forms and workflows, prepare for and conduct data migration and contribute to testing activities for migration from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. The Technical Specialist will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide input to proposed configuration of a modern intranet and implementation of SharePoint to Cloud migration. Key Activities:
Configuration and implementation of a modern intranet on SharePoint Online.
Development of Power Platform forms and workflows.
Testing where required.
Documentation for technical solutions, processes and activities, and transfer of knowledge to technical support teams.
Working in an agile environment and ensure requirements are met for successful project delivery in migrating the existing SharePoint On-prem content to SharePoint Online.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
Extensive SharePoint Site Administration and SharePoint Security Setup experience.
Extensive SharePoint Page and Data Migration from On Premises to Cloud experience (Large migrations essential).
Demonstrated PowerApps Form Development experience.
Demonstrated Power Automate Development experience.
Advanced PowerShell experience (especially with PNP SharePoint module).
Strong communication and technical and non-technical stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated experience working with M365 environments.
Demonstrated ShareGate experience.
