Located in Pakenham Victoria, MN Spraybooths is an Australian owned and operated spray booth manufacturer recognized for supplying a broad range of high-performance spray paint booths and body shop systems that is second to none. We have completed installations for some of the most advanced facilities to some of the smallest of environments across Australia.
We have an immediate new opening for a Sheet Metal Worker - Duct Fabricator to join our manufacturing team.
Whether you have previous experience or are in the middle of completing your apprenticeship and looking for an opportunity to work whilst completing studies, our company will support the right candidate.
The job involves:
- Daily manufacture of Sheet Metal ductwork using a variety of metals and machinery to form and shape patterns.
- Aspects of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium light to medium fabrication
- Working hours Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.00pm + overtime available.
Skills required for the position:
- Fabrication of duct work and Sheet Metal joinery.
- Ability to work in a team and with minimum supervision.
- Good eye for detail and accuracy with measurements.
- Reliable and punctual.
- A positive and keen to learn attitude.
- Ability to learn quickly by following instructions.
- Easy going and friendly persona.
- Forklift license advantage or willingness to undertake training.
Skills and experience sought:
- Previous experience in the manufacturing of Sheet Metal products and ductwork is preferable, whilst as on the job training will be provided.
- Previous experience with the use of machinery to form and shape Sheet Metal patterns is desirable, whilst on the job training will be provided.
- For those with limited experience who are currently in a trades assistant role or an apprenticeship with an interest in this industry are encouraged to apply.
