About your new role?
We are looking for a reliable & energetic Sheet Metal Fabricator to manufacture HVAC units for the commercial industry. The position is located in Broadmeadows and is a progressive manufacturing company with 45+ years in operation. The opportunity exists, for the right person, to further develop their skillset and potentially move into a leadership role and coordinate a small team in the fabrication/fit out work area, liaising directly with the Operations Manager.
This role includes:
- Light fabrication of Sheet Metal and stainless-steel components.
- Fitting out various components to air-conditioning units (including fans, coils, dampers, filters & drain trays).
- Operating Sheet Metal machinery and power tools (break presses & guillotines).
- Reading technical cad drawings.
- Working within a supportive team.
