Markair Components is a family owned fan manufacturing business who has been a strong part of the residential, commerical and industrial HVAC industry. Distributing nationally, we service many different clients and bring a unique approach to one of Australia's largest industries.
Qualifications & experience
- Certificate III or IV in Metal Trades Fabrication
- Forklift licence
- MIG Welding
- Spot Welding
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
Tasks & responsibilities
- MIG Welding of light guage Sheet Metal fan components (typically up to 5mm mild steel and stainless)
- Fabrication of fan housings
- Welding of fan frames and bases
- Setting up of press tools, pressing steel components
- Although we work with fans, we do not manufacture ducting
- Opportunities to learn machining functions, fan assembly if desired but not required
- Maintaining a tidy work area and interacting with team to complete jobs
