Shift Electrician

Chandler Macleod currently has a very exciting opportunity for a Shift Electrician to join our esteemed client in the Goulburn Valley area.
The main objective of this role is to support the Maintenance Manager by providing the Electrical portion of equipment reliability for the production department whilst performing / coordinating electrical works in a systematic, thorough and craftsmen line manner to ensure that productivity is at an optimum.
 
If successful for this role you will:

• Respond to breakdown requests and minimise production disruptions.
• Monitor electrical equipment performance.
• Delivery the Preventative Maintenance Program for Electrical works
• Prioritise, plan, and implement electrical requirements.
• Participate in factory start up process.
• Perform general electrical works across all sites.
• Act as an electrical resource to the Maintenance Manager.
• Form strong working relationships with all Departments.
• Liaise and engage the organising of electrical contractors where required.
• Ensure the minimisation of down time for electrical faults/issues for production equipment.
• Be part of meeting the maintenance departments KPI’s on improvement of plant productivity
• Ensure all electrical work is done correctly, safely and to Standard.

 
You will also have:

• Trade qualification with demonstrated experience in a production environment.
• Ability to use initiative, work independently and assist with other duties as required.
• Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly, and professional manner with fellow staff and Management.
