Shift Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Production Shift Manager to join our clients team in Bendigo. This role is crucial for overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient production processes. The Production Shift Manager will be responsible for managing manufacturing, quality control, staffing, and regulatory compliance during designated shifts. This position plays a key role in maintaining high standards of productivity, safety, and product quality.You will be working on weekly rotating shifts across day, afternoon and night.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and directing production processes to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality products that meet customer and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate daily production schedules and staffing requirements.
• Mentor and manage team members to achieve production targets and foster career progression.
• Maintain production, receiving, and inventory records, and prepare necessary reports.
• Address production issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted workflow and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant standards.
• Participate in safety walks and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Contribute to environmental sustainability initiatives and compliance with environmental management systems.
• Demonstrate leadership by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Process Manufacturing or equivalent experience preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of dairy processing operations and food manufacturing requirements.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and familiarity with business systems.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
