Shop Supervisor - Lifeline

• Remuneration: $32.73 + 11% super + allowances

Do you have a passion for retail and providing great customer service? We are currently seeking a Casual Retail Shop Supervisor to manage Lifeline stores within the Rockhampton region.

An integral part of our Lifeline team, as a Shop Supervisor you’ll be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care so passionately about.

 As part of this role you will:

• Ensure product merchandising & store presentation is of a high standard

• Complete inventory management & stocktaking

• Assist Customers with enquiries and sales

From the moment an item is donated to Lifeline to the moment a potentially lifesaving call is made, at least 38 pairs of hands have been involved, each and every pair symbolically supporting the caller.

To be successful in this role, we will be looking for the following skills and attributes:

• Demonstrated experience in retail management (or hospitality management with a background in retail).
• Previous retail experience in furniture, clothing or homewares is essential
• Be available to work Saturdays
• Passion for retail and a genuine desire to enjoy a fast paced, ever-changing environment
• The ability to recognise potential and promote store growth
• Be self-motivated and show initiative
• Create a values driven, diverse and safe employment environment that attracts, engages and retains skilled employees and volunteers
• Setting and exceeding priorities to meet daily deadlines; developing plans to meet short-term objectives
• Have a positive attitude and good personal presentation
• Be able to work independently as well as within a team
• Ability to use a retail business systems, POS and Microsoft Office
