About the roleEmeco are currently seeking a suitably experienced (HME) Short Term Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic team based in Brisbane, Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following duties:Understanding the upcoming asset shutdown schedule (MEC/MEU, RTW, asset moves, etc) in the proceeding 3 to 6 monthsTrigger targeted pre shutdown inspection events to understand asset condition and work required to be completed during asset shutdownDevelop and maintain asset shutdown plans within the 12 week to 4 week window that coverScheduled MEC/MEU component changeoutsOutstanding machine defect backlogOpportune strategy tasksWorks required to bring the asset back to the Emeco standardWork with key stakeholders (Site Superintendents / Project Mangers and Asset Majors Co-Ordinators) to review labour and resourcing workflow for the shutdown eventEnsure BOM kit is suitable for component change and procure additional parts as required for shutdown scopeEnsure accurate scope is delivered to external vendors and labour providers for budgetingEnsure asset shutdown scope is costed and complies with regional CAPEX and OPEX approved budgetsSubmit draft shutdown plan to Central Plan Hub for review and approval prior to executionEnsure asset shutdown is confirmed on site in the 4 week asset schedule, all stakeholders internally and externally aligned and works are approved to commenceHost Post Maintenance Review covering:Compliance to planLabour utilisationParts and Component IssuesWorkflow of shutdownOpportunities for ImprovementEnsure feedback is delivered to Central Planning Hub for continuous improvement into Asset and Shutdown Strategy About you Experience in maintenance of heavy mobile earth moving equipment, in particular CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu; Trade Background preferred.Demonstrated experience in maintenance scheduling.Effective planning and organising skills with the ability to deliver on simultaneous projects with competing priorities.High-level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven ability to foster strong working relationships.Ability to deliver to deadlines.Substantial knowledge and experience utilising computer programs including AMT (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of what drives equipment productivity in the mining environmentStrong understanding of customer operations and equipment usage.Strong time management skills and ability to plan and forecast.Previous experience in a similar role.
