We are looking for someone with a warm and friendly disposition who genuinely enjoys engaging with others, has retail expertise and holds a strong interest in interiors and design.
This casual position is available at our Canberra showroom and is suited to a candidate with confidence in working with a diverse client base. Casual hours are 2 - 3 days per week and will include at least one weekend day.

The Modern Furniture store is a retail business specialising in high quality and well-priced Mid-Century and Scandinavian designed furniture and accessories intended for everyday use in the home or work. Key to our success over the past 13 years is our in-store experience supported by our talented team offering exceptional customer experience. We currently have showrooms located in Brisbane, Noosa Heads, Bowral, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra with further expansion planned.

• Drive sales and administrative tasks to support customer transactions

You will demonstrate:
• Strong sales skills with high standards of customer service
• Background in furniture and interior design is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated and result oriented
• Ability to work well within a small team
• Experience in furniture and homewares styling highly regarded
