About the role...
A fantastic opportunity for a full time position now exists for a committed and enthusiastic person to join our showroom in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. We are seeking a passionate team player who will ensure that our clients receive premium service at all times.
In this role, the Showroom Assistant would primarily be supporting the needs of the showroom. Specifically, you will be providing drapery, upholstery and wall paper solutions for walk in showroom enquiries, and supporting the sales team with the handling of sales queries, quote preparation and administrative work.
This position supports and assists a range of different customers including Decorators & Designers, Architects and Homemakers so as to create, build and maintain healthy and productive commercial relationships.
About you...
We are looking for the following key attributes:
- Wholesale showroom experience or retail experience
- Strong Customer Service / Sales Administration background
- Experience with managing both inbound and outbound calls
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications and the ability to navigate various in-house database.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve customer queries, issues or complaints in a professional, effective and timely manner
- Experience in a soft furnishings field and/or a passion for textiles and design would be a bonus!
