This is your chance to secure a permanent role that's about more than just sales. Working in a locally owned and managed business, this is the perfect opportunity for someone who is a genuine people person that appreciates the importance of building relationships with customers, trades, builders and architects. We are not just running a ‘showroom’ its all about the experience.
We are passionate about delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction through our specialization in the sale of an extensive range of hand-selected tiles, vanities and PC items.
Some key things you can expect to perform...
- Focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
- Develop trust and deliver excellence in customer service
- Perform general sales administration
- Engage with all types of people, creating long-lasting relationships
- Respond to customers’ queries about products, prices, availability, product uses
- Assist customers in making product selections based on customer needs and product specifications
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and housekeeping
- Use of the Microsoft suite of programs also Xero
- Ensure functional adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines
What we are looking for...
We continually invest in our team, so we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, develop and grow their skills in a friendly and supportive environment. This role will suit someone who has plenty of energy, has great sales & customer service ethic, is adaptable and comfortable assisting with all tasks as required.
- Must have minimum 5 years experience in the tile industry
- Interior Design background beneficial
- Ability to work under tight timeframes
- Outstanding verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to establish rapport with customers
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer Literacy is essential
