AddressSeeking Trades and Mechanical Trades Assistants located in Orange NSW or the wider Central West NSW region for shutdown and maintenance works at Cadia Valley Operations and/or NorthParkes Mines (NPM).
PJL Group is a specialised Underground Hard Rock Maintenance and Asset Supply Company that has been well-established since 2006, with its head office located in Orange, NSW.
We are seeking Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters (preferably with rotating equipment and conveyor experience), Riggers and Mechanical Trade Assistants located in Orange or within the wider Central West NSW region to undertake short or longer periods of works (and recurring works) at Cadia Valley Mine site in Orange NSW and/or NorthParkes Mines in Parkes NSW.
We have casual shutdown positions available for those who may be seeking a secondary income and/or are flexible to fill short or longer periods of works for the approximate dates below (subject to change):
- 22 to 27 July
- 26 to 28 August
- 10 to 14 September
- 16 to 21 September
- 8 to 14 October (NPM)
- 11 to 16 November
- 2 to 7 December
- 9 to 14 December
- 15 to 20 December (NPM)
- Australian recognised Trade Qualifications (where applicable)
- Heavy industry or mining experience preferred
- Willingness to work underground and surface
- Working at heights and confined space ticket within 2 years (or willingness to obtain)
- Any high-risk work licences an advantage
- Site Bonus Program - earn extra $$$
