The DXC Practice for Oracle is the largest independent provider of Oracle consulting and managed services in Australia and New Zealand. DXC provides dynamic technology leadership in delivering Oracle Cloud solutions, with a full continuum of services around Oracle’s integrated suite of applications, platform services, and engineered systems.
Due to current growth opportunities, we are looking for an experienced Siebel Architect / Solution Designer to join our team.
Essential Job Functions
- Understand functional model, data model, development/customization process in Siebel 6
- Work closely with business Stakeholders, RTE, Engineering managers to provide Solution and development support.
- Design the solution using Siebel configuration/EAI/EIM/PLSQL , Control M techniques
- Provide technical design recommendation by evaluating new and modified functionality to meet business and IT needs.
- Prepare OOM & provide Solution Walk through
- The candidate is required to have excellent Siebel skills plus a good working knowledge of Siebel interfaces and PL/SQL.
- Experience building integration modules and frameworks for Siebel and familiarity of Siebel implementations and integration workflows.
- Create, update, review and approve Technical Design Documents
- Adhere to Release and Change Management Processes
- Banking domain knowledge
Basic Qualifications
- BE/BTech/MCA in computer science with 8-13 years of Siebel experience
Skills
- Must be experienced with Siebel configuration, EIM, Workflows, Business Services, eScript.
- Integration experience using EAI, VBC, web services, MSMQ.
- Strong knowledge of the Siebel Data Model, Databases, MSSQ Server / Oracle is desired.
- Must have good knowledge and experience with Siebel Call Centre or any Base application.
- Must have experience with at least one of the vertical applications like Banking and financials
- Integration experience with Siebel Out of the Box adapters, web services, VBC, EBC and JMS queues desired.
- Thorough understanding of Siebel Schema and performance tuning.
- Good exposure in Siebel Development including Business Modelling, Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Configuration and Integration for Siebel Enterprise.
- Complete exposure to each phase of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficient with Siebel Tools and Client in configuration and customization of Siebel Objects at multiple levels like Applets, Business Components, Screens, Views, Tables, Joins, Links, MVGs, Pick Lists, Toggle Applets and Drilldowns.
- Good oral and written communications skills in both technical and client facing situations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (Desired)
- Prefer experience of doing developments in Siebel 6 2000/7.x/8.x.
