Form of work City of Gold Coast are looking for a Signs and Lines Labourer for an immediate start Your new company Hays Specialist Recruitment is currently seeking applications from experienced and hands-on Labourers to work within the City of Gold Coast's Infrastructure Maintenance division. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Australia's second-largest local government and one of our city's largest Organisations. Your new role Based within the Signs and Lines crews, responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Installation of signage in compliance with Austroads manual
Installation of road and pavement line marking
Removing any objects that block Council signage
Set-up of worksite to comply with Austroads manual
Completion of risk assessments and compliance with the City's Safe Work Methods Statements
What you will need to succeed You will be a good communicator who has excellent interpersonal skills in team environments. Mandatory requirements include:
Construction white card
MR licence (mandatory)
6-8 months experience labouring
What you will get in return Monday - Friday role, 9 day fortnight. In return, you will receive a competitive remuneration.
