We are seeking a Formwork Carpenter to join our Infrastructure Delivery Unit on a permanent full-time basis. About the role: In this role, you will provide formwork carpentry services in the areas of both construction and maintenance. Duties will include: General concrete construction and maintenance work in association with roads, bridges, stormwater drainage, footpaths, kerb and guttering, and water supply & sewerage infrastructure work.
Apply technical knowledge and skill, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and regulations are met. Responsible for working in an effective and efficient, safe and environmentally friendly way at all Council worksites. We are seeking: A trade certificate in construction carpentry or equivalent. Competence and skills in formworking, proprietary formwork systems and scaffolding systems. Demonstrated competence in concrete construction work.
