Hays Specialist Recruitment is currently seeking applications from experienced and hands-on Labourers to work within the City of Gold Coast's Infrastructure Maintenance division. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Australia's second-largest local government and one of our city's largest Organisations.
Your new role
Based within the Signs and Lines crews, responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Installation of signage in compliance with Austroads manual
- Installation of road and pavement line marking
- Removing any objects that block Council signage
- Set-up of worksite to comply with Austroads manual
- Completion of risk assessments and compliance with the City's Safe Work Methods Statements
What you will need to succeed
You will be a good communicator who has excellent interpersonal skills in team environments. Mandatory requirements include:
- Construction white card
- MR licence (mandatory)
- 6-8 months experience labouring
What you will get in return
Monday - Friday role, 9 day fortnight. In return, you will receive a competitive remuneration. You will have one dedicated Hays consultant who will work closely with you throughout your assignment and liaise with you for any future opportunities or availability.
