Weldtech Engineering NSW is a locally owned business based in Mt Thorley NSW. Our group of businesses offer multiple different services both onsite and offsite in mining, rail and civil. Our Boilermaker / Fabrication division focuses on crack repairs, light and heavy fabrication, breakdown repairs and design both onsite and offsite. Weldtech's workshop is located in Mt Thorley NSW.

Due to major contract growth and our new offsite facilities we require Site Boilermakers / Fabricators to join our team across multiple sites

CURRENT BOILERMAKER POSITIONS

• Lifestyle Roster - Bulga Coal 
• 2 panel Even Time - Thiess Mt  Arthur 
• Afternoon Shift Leading Hand - Workshop 
• Boilermakers - Floating across multiple sites and our workshop on various rosters 

About the role

We are currently seeking experienced Site boilermakers to join our growing team across multiple sites including offsite. 

Duties Include;

• Repairs and maintenance to mobile equipment eg, Dozers, Graders, Haul Trucks, Excavators etc
• Crack repairs and monitoring of buckets / refurbishments 
• Chassis Repairs
• Haul truck body repairs / refurbishment
• Long term work and regular fortnightly pay for subcontractors 

Note: We have roles both on and off mine sites

Skills, experience and expectations 

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Certificate of Proficiency
• Ability to pass Weld Testing - 1554.4
• Strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team
• Trade Certificate in the relevant trade
• Ability to pass regular drug and alcohol testing
