Site Cleaner & Driver (Ute / Truck)

ABOUT THE JOB

Job Site Recyclers offers Victoria's largest builders a unique site cleaning package that removes construction waste from building sites around Melbourne and returns the waste materials to our depots in Campbellfield, Dandenong, and Laverton to be sorted and eventually recycled, thus greatly reducing landfill for the state.

This role requires the candidate to:

• Perform general site cleaning & collection of recyclable material to be brought to the yard for sorting.
• Drive utes with trailers to various building and construction sites.
• Take all precautions for transportation by securing the load while loading/unloading.
• Follow all start and end of day procedures.
• General cleaning and basic maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Conduct other job responsibilities as directed by the Site Supervisor.
• Report to the Field Supervisor on a regular, daily and weekly basis.
• Participate in staff & toolbox meetings and follow guidelines as directed/updated.

Basic Requirements:

• Compulsory White Card & Drivers Licence.
• Medium Rigid (MR) / Heavy Rigid (HR) / Heavy Combination (HC) Licence would be an add on for future roles.

General Cleaner Trainee Period:

• 2-3 weeks based on performance and supervisor feedback
• Wages: $31.64 per hour (Level 1 Casual)

Post training - up to 6 months:

• Position: Driving + Labouring OR Labouring only (for candidates with no driver’s licence)
• Wages: $32.65 per hour (Level 3 Casual) OR $32.31 per hour (Lev 2 Casual)

Casual Conversion (Full Time 40 hours per week on 6-month completion or earlier if fast tracked\*)

• Position: General Cleaner / Timber-Plaster Collector / Rubble Prepper (Driving + Labouring role)
• Wages: $27.13 per hour (Level 3 permanent full time 40 hours per week)

OR

• Position: Yardworker / Offsider (Labouring only role)
• Wages: $26.85 per hour (Level 3 permanent full time 40 hours per week)
