Workplace Learning Officer

Mindarie Senior College is seeking a motivated Workplace Learning Officer to join their Career Development team.As our Workplace Learning Officer you will ensure the efficient operation of the Workplace Learning Office, including administering spreadsheets, databases, student records and the effective management of other school information systems. You may also be responsible for liaising with students, parents and businesses to achieve high levels of Workplace Learning outcomes. This involves securing work placements with existing and new workplace business partners. The ideal applicant should have the capacity to work collaboratively with the Vocational Education and Training (VET). school officer. Experience with the Reporting to Parents (RTP) Workplace Learning module would be an advantage.Mindarie Senior College is a purpose-built senior college designed to meet the educational needs of Years 11 and 12 students. The College's culture is based on personal excellence, positive relationships, and social responsibility. The relationship between teachers, support staff and students reflects a mature approach where the focus is on the young person transitioning to adulthood.This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. • Good verbal and written communication skills, including application of customer service principles and practices.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
• Ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
• Effective planning and organisational skills and experience in providing administrative support.
