FORM 700 is one of Australia’s leading Construction companies here in South Australia and is currently looking for new team members (Project Coordinator ) to join it’s Adelaide based team. We are currently involved in several high-profile projects and have several more high-profile projects in the works which will add to the ever-expanding Adelaide skyline.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to coordinate projects from concept through to installation whilst dealing with suppliers, clients and trades. Communicating with the client/Builder and carrying out administrative procedures and correspondence necessary for the efficient management of the project. The applicant should possess the following skills and experience:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent skills using MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Understanding of the building/construction industry as well as the ability to read technical drawings would be an advantage.
- Tertiary qualification relevant to construction.
- Proven management Skills, practices and planning ability
About the role:
This role has a strong administration focus, with the role based on and off site receiving firsthand, real time productive on the job education identifying, understanding and applying your knowledge gain throughout your degree and in the field. Reporting directly to the Construction manager as required.
· Keep the foreman up to date with the current drawings and direct communication with the Builder.
· Ensure current drawings are up to date, changes highlighted, and the foreman & Company Estimator are made aware of the changes in a timely manner.
· Send RFIs as required.
· Forward information regarding concrete pours, reo usage, post tensioning, deliveries etc in a timely manner as required.
· Ensure all QA pre and final inspections are signed off and submitted as required, keeping copies of all stages.
· Maintain records of every stage of the building process, changes or communications. Keep your foreman updated of the same.
· Maintain personnel records, including, toolbox meetings, SWM’s sign-offs, injury recording, clothing register etc.
· Update Site specific SWMS as required sending an emailed copy update to the Safety manager
· Any other tasks as reasonably requested from time to time
