AddressWe are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Site Engineer to join our team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and understanding by supporting the project team and acting as the liaison between construction, design, and administration elements. As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in managing quality and providing technical construction support to all project stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in establishing, maintaining, and monitoring project quality standards and procedures.
- Identify and resolve project issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Review subcontractor quality documentation and onsite works to ensure compliance.
- Review sub-contractor works are compliant, completing ITP's and photo documenting works.
- Compile certification documentation, maintenance, and purchaser manuals.
- Manage the flow of technical information between design disciplines and internal/external stakeholders.
- Review subcontract shop drawings for general compliance and coordinate consultant approvals.
- Resolve design and coordination issues between clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure design completion to standard and on schedule to maintain the program.
- Review tender package content for scope of work, product usage, and design logic.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in the procurement, supervision, and administration of all trade packages.
- Ensure safety compliance on all projects, promote and enforce site safety, complete safety administration, and proactively address rectifications.
Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Class 2 construction.
- Strong administration and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proactive, professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Understanding of Quality & Design for structures, services, fire rating, finishes, and facade components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam.
