Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Undergraduate/Graduate Site Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of construction projects, ensuring their completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a part-time or fulltime role with flexible days and times to suit your schedule, with the potential to expand to a full-time position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work is performed to the required standards.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, and other project documentation as required.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- Recently finished or currently studying a relevant degree.
- Experience in construction project management is highly regarded.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
