Form of workJoin Freyssinet Australia, a leading specialist contractor renowned for innovative solutions in structure remediation, post-tensioning, and specialist civil engineering. We are currently seeking a Site Engineer (Remedial) based in Sydney, with occasional work throughout the state.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Prepare and manage Project QA and safety documents
- Conduct site safety inspections
- Utilize MS Project for critical path identification, resource allocation, and project scheduling
- Develop and maintain project program and job forecast
- Monitor and report on accruals, committed costs, and Cost to Complete
- Manage operation productivity ratio
- Ensure safety performance, standards, and risk management
- Conduct weekly safety inspections, prestart, process implications checks, and HAZOB
- Perform monthly cost analysis of project performances, including program, cost to complete, project forecast, committed costs, accruals, productivity ratio, variations, and notice of delays
- Assist supervisors with weekly programming, material, and equipment management
- Collaborate with site supervisors on a day-to-day basis to manage projects, solve problems, and mitigate operational risks
Qualifications / Experience:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 1-4 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the civil/construction industry
- Prior experience in remedial or concrete/steel repair and re-strengthening is desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs
- Previous experience working with contractors
- Mid-tier experience with knowledge of the entire project life cycle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
