About the project / role
Located in Helensvale, Gold Coast. Construction of 17 independent retirement living units, maintenance shed and carpark. Project commencement in July 2024. Role is a 12-month contract for the project duration, with possibility for extension.

Role Responsibilities
- Assist Site Manager with management and supervision of overall site performance and construction processes, including liaising with subcontractors.
- Assist Site Manager with adherence with project safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Supervise and inspect compliance with project design documentation and specifications.
- Complete site records, documentation and reporting processes as required in conjunction with the Site Manager.
- Day to day problem solving and resolution of issues.
- Coordinate and motivate workforce.
Required Skills & Experience
- QBCC Licenced Supervisor or Builder.
- Self-sufficient ability to carry out role responsibilities.
- Knowledge and prior experience in Gold Coast Construction market.
- In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, practices and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of construction best practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential problems before they arise.
- Conflict resolution abilities and confidence in dealing with multiple people, including subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Integrity.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
