Summary:
GH Properties (GH) is an Australian mixed-use property developer with considerable experience gained over 30 years in developing, building, and operating vibrant, luxury residential, tourism, sport, and recreation precincts.
We are seeking a skilled Site Manager to join our team and finalise the construction of a luxury residential project consisting of 26 high end villas already under construction at Hope Island. This project is a high-profile site for us and demands an individual with attention to detail and knows what it takes to deliver luxury high residential living apartments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all site activities, including construction, maintenance, and repair work
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant health and safety regulations
- Develop and implement site-specific plans and schedules to meet project deadlines
- Monitor and control project costs, including labour, materials, and equipment
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders
- Manage and motivate contractors and subcontractors
- Ensure that all site documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery
- Ability to monitor and manage critical path requirements while working to tight deadlines.
- Ensure optimal sequencing of works.
- Have an ability to focus on multiple trades, with villas at different stages of completion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in site management or a similar role.
- Trade qualification would be an advantage.
- QBCC Site Managers license.
- QBCC Licensed builder for medium rise or better would be an advantage.
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
- Experience in managing budgets and controlling cost
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS project management.
- Understanding of Procore or similar site management platform.
