Slade Health is a division of ICON Group. Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA accredited manufacturing facilities based at Geebung Queensland, Mt.Kuring-gai New South Wales, Mt.Waverley Victoria, Woodville South Australia and Auckland New Zealand. Slade Health produces aseptically compounded pharmaceutical products that include chemotherapy drugs, total parental nutrition, antibiotics and analgesics.
About the role:
We are currently seeking a Site Operations Manager to join our leadership team to manage on-time in full supply of products to multiple hospital & clinical sites daily, supplying to metropolitan and regional customers. The role oversees operations of the TGA licenced Geebung compounding facility in compliance with the quality management system and GMP principles with full P&L responsibilities.
This is a full-time permanent position and reports to the ANZ Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day activities related to the provision of patient treatments
- Liaise with Commercial Operations to ensure timely delivery to customers
- Ensure excellence in customer service
- Oversee site compliance to safety and quality regulatory standards
- Establish site business plans and budgets in accordance with strategic plans
- Manage the site P&L
- Manage and maintain projects to timelines and within budget
- Oversee inventory and warehouse controls including cycle counts and stocktakes
- Drive productivity and efficiency through continuous improvement with the application of LEAN principles
- Drive the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by communicating clear performance expectations, developing and supporting the achievement of company, site and team goals
- Actively promote a culture of continuous improvement to increase product quality, safety, customer service and employee engagement
- Identify on-going training needs
- Tertiary qualifications in management or significant experience in operations.
- Knowledge and experience of TGA regulations
- Experience in developing, coaching and managing a team
- Highly organised
- Prior experience in LEAN / 6 SIGMA initiatives.
